Being Troubadour Finalist at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival was honestly a dream. Planet Bluegrass was amazing, the other finalists were stellar, and the vibe of that festival was everything I could have hoped for. I’ve been dreaming about singing on a stage for thousands of people for a longtime and it was quite an experience. I think we all have these ideas what certain milestones mean for our careers and the reality can be overwhelming. Sometimes even leaving us feeling a little empty after the rush is over… Or possibly hungry for the next destination. After this particular milestone, I want to recommit to fully appreciating the journey and the craft of songwriting. I want to take from this experience a deeper appreciation for how every stage is sacred and every performance opportunity no matter how big or small creates the chance for transcendence and meaningful connection to incredible humans. Anyway… Thanks for all the support over the years on both the big stages and little ones.
