Show Details: Sept 15, 2024 7:30-9:30pm Wild Days Rooftop at the Eaton Hotel 1201 K St. NW DC Based in the Revolutionary Love ethic, reclaiming love as a force for justice, healing and collective liberation, this event welcomes people of all backgrounds — especially from across the spectrum of peace and justice efforts in DC — to come together to raise funds for the people of Gaza, call for a ceasefire and hostage/prisoner agreement, and build beloved community. All proceeds benefit charities directly serving Gazans: The Saif Foundation, Heal Foundation and the Delia Arts Foundation. Performers: Fuad Foty and Fairuz Foty Malikat Al-Dabke Cecily Alexa American Nomad Aaron Shneyer This event is part of the Interwoven Concert Series, a project initiated by musician and activist Aaron Shneyer. The Interwoven Concert Series harnesses the power of music to build meaningful connection, inspiration, and awareness between diverse communities of Washington, DC. The Interwoven Concert Series is supported in part by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. Tickets orders and donations are fully tax-deductible as they will be processed by Heartbeat, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and then distributed to the Gazan humanitarian aid organizations. Ticket prices are suggested donations. Co-sponsoring organizations include: DC Supporters of Standing Together, Heartbeat, The Ceasefire Coalition, The Telos Group, Am Kolel, American Friends of Combatants for Peace, Peace Walks DC, Peacebuilding Connections, The Quartertonez Music School, Sweet Spot Studio and JAMAAT.
